If you are wondering who is watching while you read, the short answer is that we have not set anything up to do it.

This page says what this house does with information, and just as clearly what it does not. It is an honest stub. We will change it before any new collection starts, not afterwards.

Who we are

Arcana Mentis is an educational site about the care and government of your own mind. The address intended for it is https://www.arcanamentis.com. The site is not a clinic. It does not diagnose, treat, or take the place of a clinician. It stands on its own, apart from any other project.

These pages have not been deployed to that address yet. This note describes the site as it is built today, not a future version that has not been turned on.

What is not installed yet

We will not invent a list of things “we collect” in order to sound complete. The following are not on this site:

  • No advertising networks.
  • No analytics or measurement tags.
  • No measurement cookies.
  • No mailing list.
  • No checkout.
  • No user accounts.
  • No file uploads.

Because those systems are not here, we are not keeping a reader list, a purchase history, an uploaded file, or an account. We do not sell reader information. There is nothing of that kind to sell. When a vendor is added — for advertisements, measurement, or mail — this page will name that vendor and the purpose before it is turned on.

What may happen when you visit

Ordinary web hosting may produce server and access logs. A log of that kind can include an IP address, a browser’s user agent, the address of the page requested, and the time. That is a habit of hosting. It is not a measurement product this house has chosen, and it is not named analytics.

None of that becomes named analytics until a vendor is chosen and named on this page, with its purpose, before it is turned on. Today no third-party analytics vendor is named, because none is installed.

If Cloudflare, or some other host, is used when the site goes into production, this page will name that host before any extra measurement is switched on. Mentioning a possible host is not a claim that one is running now. The site is not deployed.

Cookies

This site does not set measurement cookies today. There is no cookie banner, because nothing here tracks you. A banner for a tracker that does not exist would be theatre.

If an essential cookie is ever needed — for example, to remember a preference you asked the site to keep — we will name that cookie on this page before we use it. Until then, do not look for one.

AI

Pages on this site may be drafted or edited with AI writing tools. That is a fact about how the writing is prepared. It is not a chat window waiting for you.

There is no user-facing AI chat on Arcana Mentis that collects your messages. No reader prompts are stored by this house today. If you are not asked to type a question into a box, that is because we are not collecting one.

Contact and requests

There is no public inbox yet. When an address exists, questions about privacy will go to the contact page. Until then, that page says plainly that a letter has nowhere to land.

There are no user uploads to delete, because this house does not collect uploads. There is no account to close. If that ever changes, this page will say how a person may ask, before the change is switched on.

Children

Arcana Mentis is not directed at children under 13. In the spirit of the United States Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a parent or guardian believes something of that kind was collected, they may write when a public inbox exists. Today there is not one, and there is also no children’s account, form, or upload that would gather that information.

Mental-health content

Writing here about depression, loneliness, meditation, and the other rooms is educational. It is not therapy, not treatment, and not a clinic. The crisis note in the footer says the same thing, and the FAQ answers it in short form. Never stop a prescribed medicine because of a page on this site. Talk with a clinician about any change in care.

If you are in crisis in the United States, call or text 988, or go to 988lifeline.org. Do not send a crisis to a contact page that cannot answer.

This page will be updated before any new vendor or any new kind of collection starts. If you come back later, please read it again. The words here are meant to match the site as it actually is.
